Are we sexually assaulted during the Hypnagogic states?

Hi there..I have been “leaving my body” for many years now and many times I’ve encountered sexual episodes however most of the time I would ” create” these myself out of pure desire for them..and they usually came on after a vivid lucid dream of sex. Honestly I think it triggers OBE’s because it is connected to our senses and of course our physical bodies. I deliberately create these scenes to sharpen my awareness. I don’t think many of the participants were “real”. However I have had a feeling of hands caressing my body in the hypnagogic state. So I think we encounter many sensations in this state that are supposed to help our “exiting” or gaming awareness process. This is only my theory because in the hypna states we are still attached to our physical bodies and also our subconscious seeps through quite often bringing images,sensations etc, because its very difficult to fully control the subconscious, it creates many things that just seem “real”. I can only speak of my own experience of course and this is what I realized over the years:-) hope to at least give more insight into your question. One more thing, I had to pretty much fight through my subconscious attachments to have more clarity and superb awareness in these states..and I think it is safe to say a lot of the things even people were creations of my subconscious mind. It took years to get through some of it even the darker things locked in my sub and the sexual aspect would show up often.

Sometimes I see this card as simultaneously letting go of the old and moving onto the new at the same time as change happens rapidly to us and we don’t have time to ponder on them just have to go with the flow of life;)

p#2 The High Priestess-The Unknown and Known

Here we have The High Priestess, the second path. After the Fool meet’s the Magician and meeting his own responsive thoughts, he now can move to the next level that becomes his feelings.

In this card I have always seen a woman sitting in between two worlds. One is her reality that is above her, (outer) the other is below her, (within). Within this card the fool meets his next lesson in life and that is not only his feelings but his ability to understand them with correlation to his thoughts. I see this card often as a teenager beginning to see that there is more to things than what they have seen prior with the magician as well as learning the unseen side of life and reality. This is where the fool meets his own depths of himself through dreams, intuition, and his emotions. He begins to realize there is much more here than just what he “Thinks”.

This card also has two lessons here as well…For it stands for the number two for a reason, two paths, two sides we all must learn the light and the dark, just like the pillars are on either side of the woman in the card above. The dark and Light we all carry around with us. So we meet our other sides for the first time in our journey, we meet our inner selves on an entirely new level of ourselves with different needs and wants. Which once we start to develop this newness we are very vulnerable as well because we have yet to build this new realization up yet onto reality. We are after all just starting out and learning “ourselves” at the number two stage in our lives.

Understanding our emotions comes to play here and how to understand them of others. Often this card is said to be ruled by the moon and the female archetype because it represents the female side in all of us as well. The High Priestess is in all of us for it truly stands for the mystery and secrets of life and the very depths of oneself. It is the wisdom and both the secrets of the universe. When this card is drawn to us we are called upon to look closer to our dreams, intuition and our feelings more and also try to create a balance of both dark and light within ourselves. It is the unseen in this card that reminds us, ” It is the very things we do not see here, but never the less exist that keep the rhythm of all going”. It is the instincts and gut feelings that we learn to follow and trust as well as our emotions.

This card shows us all the darker parts of life, the unseen, the unknown, the very depths of ourselves we do not understand, just as the depths of our earths ocean, we continue to “feel” our way through this life. The fool can now be joined with thought and emotion and he is now ready to move forward to the next phase of his journey.

The high priestess warns us of possible untruths around us, as well as cheating ourselves from what we truly need to nourish ourselves. She is the intuitive mother that knows what we need on a subconscious level and therefore tries to give us those things we secretly seek.

The universe in all of us, love without sex, deep understanding, seeing oneself on inner levels, trusting oneself, trusting others, understanding our emotions and learning to show them, hidden knowledge needs to see the light of day, listening to your inner voice, following your self always, being in dreaming, learning from your heart and emotions, not seeing nor learning from your inner most self, melancholy, the subconscious, the unconscious, female vitality, not listening to yourself, ignoring your emotions and treading on thoughts only, getting lost within yourself and ignoring the feelings of others, shallowness, superficiality, not trusting yourself or where you are being led, Hidden enemies, dishonesty, those that avoid truth, feeling who you really “are”. understanding the universe on a inner level, “love is the all encompassing, I follow my own compass”!, Listening without speaking, discovering yourself on other levels, falling in love with yourself over and over again through self understanding, “When I believe in myself so does everyone and everything else”.

people both good and bad-Sensitive people, those that “know” themselves on many levels, counselors, adepts, initiates, those who understand the situation inquired about, female energy, psychics, divination, those that know their dreams and beyond them, idealized lovers, those that balance both light and dark, and the male and female within them. secretive people especially woman, those that operate from the dark, someone keeping a secret, prayers, a cruel female, your subconscious is trying to tell you something but you are unwilling to listen, highly sensitive folk’s, those that operate from their feelings rather than thoughts, psychologists, those that understand themselves and can help others learn the same, the mentally ill, self destructive individuals, saying yes to your strong sexual desires when you mean no, the inner has more rational than the outer, the black and white, “things just don’t seem right”. Luke Skywalker, The virgin mary, the man that can cry and not be ashamed to do so.

#1 The Magician

We meet the next phase of the fool’s journey, The Magician. The fool was blind with only his animal sense of meanings to be found somewhere somehow, now it is time to meet himself and become aware of his true self potential.

I look at this card often as being a young age in our life’s journey, because after the stage of the fool when we are born, we meet this stage next. It is when we start to develop ourselves with our own personal thoughts and learn responsibility from our actions and thoughts.As we get older we mold and shape our unique thoughts and personalities that will lead to things we will experience in our lives.

#1= ourselves, it just makes sense that this card is all about learning yourself and discovering everything that make’s you, you.

This card has many layers of course just as we do, I see many things come out of this card not only in readings but in everyday life, because it is also about learning. We are constantly growing and learning new things and the magician offers that meaning often.Whether we are thinking about going back to school or even just learning a new skill this card will present itself.The magician stands for our capabilities and true potential even if we may not know what we want to do at the time as far as career and which path to take. It is a sure sign we have everything within us to make changes happen for the magician has all the tools needed to make anything happen.

I don’t usually add my personal experiences to these Tarot card posts, but I have to say that I literally just went to add media to add another picture of the magician and this card was on there! The crazy thing is I literally just adopted a cat that looks exactly like this one:) and I got goose bumps and the chills and an overwhelming feeling (good) in my gut. Which brings me to my next point about this card. It is all about manifestations and bringing what we truly need as well as desire into our lives.

If you look at this picture, the kitty cat has a wand that symbolizes the magic we all carry within us to make our deepest desires happen. This cat also has wings 🙂 which represents our ability to use thought to cut through the illusions that block us from seeing the truth and setting us free to create our physical life. If you look closely you will see a dream catcher hanging in the background, this is actually acting as a filter, to filter all the things we no longer need in ourselves and our lives, the things we have outgrown, even our dreams and desires that change over the years. The books and the globe represent what we do manage to manifest in the physical and in  a tangible way. It is our jobs, our homes, our cars, the people we attract and the very life we lead. It is our thoughts that set us free after all. This card really is an excellent sign you are doing exactly what your supposed to be doing, even if you have doubts or second thoughts about where you are in life. It is a symbol that you are exactly where you need to be and things will soon surface and you will feel like a magician of your own life! Because we are our own creators in many ways, we really do shape and mold the world around us. All you have to do is look around you and look to your past to see patterns of how things came to be.
