The Zodiac signs get robbed at bingo

As senior citizens the zodiacs love to play bingo every chance they get. The local VFW hall is holding one every friday and offering free tapioca pudding with coffee and the bingo pot is going for $476.oo dollars. Everyone is excited to meet and greet and win some money, as everyone takes their seats after indulging in the pudding and coffee they are ready to win!

As Aries stands up at the table and addresses everyone that the bingo will begin in a few moments he feel’s ready to be the center of attention. As he reads off  the numbers and letters he smiles inside thinking if no one wins this pot it is all his. (since he owns the VFW).

Everything seems to being going great, everyone is immersed in their flimsy cards and overloaded cheap perfume and cologne when all of a sudden three middle aged men with steak knives in hand run up to the Aries who is still reading off numbers , pointing their steak knives directly towards him demanding the pot of money.

This is the Zodiac’s and their reaction.

Aries-(standing there shaking) He is secretly hoping someone will save his ass and the pot of money.

Taurus- scoops up another bowl of tapioca pudding and grabs another cup of coffee preparing for a long night.

Gemini- The Alzheimer’s kicks in ”  Oh, I didn’t realize we would be having steak here for dinner, I would have never ate all that tapioca pudding,. by the way I ‘m almost winning , all I need is a B13″!

Cancer-  Throws a fit while sobbing “now how am I going to win”? while throwing the rest of their tapioca pudding at the men.

Leo- ” I can’t believe I cleaned my dentures for this, I could have easily went to my doctor’s office to see all the nurses with my shiny teeth”.

Virgo-  Walks up to the men and hands them anger management brochures and points and says” stay outa trouble now”!

Libra-  crawls under the table while still holding the bingo card, mean while trying to look up Miss Gemini’s dress.

Scorpio-   Looks over at Taurus and grins , than runs up (with his cane) to the men and grabs one and smashes his head into the pot breaking it all over the place and grabbing  a mere 30 bucks and hobbling  out the door while laughing.

Sagittarius -Stands up and shouts ” You punk kids will never get away with this!” I have a grandson in the marines”!  He rolls his wheelchair up to the men and  accidently wipes out on a spill of tapioca pudding.

Capricorn-  Offers to negotiate the robbery for double the pot amount and a two week supply of swanson pot pies”.

Aquarius-  says ” Holy shit I won I won I won the Michigan lottery for 1.5 million dollars”!!!! I’m going to Canada! Anyone wanna join me?

Pisces- Thinks “this must be my lucky day,  thank god I just kept my mouth shut”.

Aquarius saved the day by winning the Michigan lottery and everyone came with him including the men who tried to rob them.

Meanwhile back at the VFW, Taurus realizes they are all  alone and says , ” damn that’s some good tapioca pudding!”

Meeting my mom in the ” afterlife”

mac_space_by_caurbi-d4sy1kr.pngimg_20151204_150827.jpgI’d like to talk about something I came to realize on my many journeys. Over the years I realized that a part of the dreaming process and it’s  state’s rely mostly on our subconscious, and the subconscious is that which operates as functional(behind the scenes) mean while our waking/ consciousness  stays operable to receive our “aware” daily awareness. In other words we literally pick up multiple subconscious notions on a daily basis without even realizing it, you have to remember we operate a mere percentage of our conscious waking minds.

Basically what it comes down to is your brain acts as a receiver , still the same as in waking life, but  your brain is always receiving information through out the day, whether your awareness is there or not.

With the above in mind I’d like to take you through a story where it seemed both my subconscious and consciousness seemed  to be only in one place,…. my body, the rest was someplace else..someplace I felt as home.

I am used to taking naps and when I do this I am often aware of my intentions, as if I were to induce an out of body experience, However sometimes I just need rest and the strange thing is that it almost ends up to be a preprogrammed thing, where I  will always meet myself somewhere somehow through this process.

I was laying in my bed half asleep or so I thought, I woke up to being  literally aware my body was asleep, but the odd thing was I was not in my body, I was standing on the front  porch of the house I grew up in.

All through out my life I would always go visit my old home while in these states, even after all of us moved away from it. I honestly think the heart will always bring ya back to where you felt a place was truly home.

I was standing on the front porch it was dark out, but for some reason when I know my body is away sleeping, I see a very pretty hazy yellow glow above me, almost as if the street lights are emanating the light but they are not. It’s hard to explain, but it shines from someplace I can’t see where the light end’s or begins.

I’m standing there and I look up to see where the hell this glow is coming from than I see the most amazing picture of the universe in the nights sky above the entire scene. I just thought to myself ” what the hell”?  It was moving in a circle form and I was just standing there in awe. I noticed it was moving in a figure eight form. I just could not believe the beauty of it. I was mesmerized by it all.mac_space_by_caurbi-d4sy1kr

As I was standing there in awe, I got a feeling someone was close by. Then before my eyes was my mother…, she came around the corner and surprised me. I was in shock! She had an army of dogs with her, I mean every kind of dog you could think of she had with her. My mom was a dog trainer and lover and knew everything there was to know about dogs..and horses, but she was  with pup’s of all kinds.

I was in shock and said ‘Mom, what are you doing here”? she starting coming up the steps and said “Ronni what are you doing with your life”? At that moment I realized I was interacting with the other side. I had a feeling I was already but this seemed to prove it for me.  I then looked at my life almost through a gaze, it all came about. I could see myself struggling with myself and alone, I was completely alone and I thought maybe this has to do with another possible part of me I need to work on. I just didn’t get it then, because I was fully aware and I let my subconscious mind take over, telling me its all just images from my imagination…I woke up in my bed and realized it wasn’t just a dream or obe…I met my mom in the afterlife.,

I knew it was her because her energy and I’ve been working with dreams and OBE’s so long that, I recognize some things and that was my mother. I  got lost for about four years where I lost myself, but that is when I had this experience, I know now that it was her.

Karma and how it works

A Story about karma-,  I want to talk a bit about karma and how it works..for me anyway..I was married years ago, but it was starting to loose its flavor for us both, at the time I was young and naïve but also very aware of my heart and what it wanted. I was very close to my Tarot Teacher at the time and I told her I felt a younger man coming into my life very soon, and the closer time came, the moment came as well, and I met him. He was in fact younger than me, but he held a special key to a part of my heart so I ran with it. I told my husband of this new man in my life and he appreciated my honesty and in the same he told me his thoughts on our marriage. We were on a even keel. I was grateful. So the lesson I”m showing here is by honesty it really evades karma in a sense because Karma is something you create by being dishonest or by not finishing what you started, that’s all it is..and when ya realize this, you can lift those heavy boulders from your shoulders and touch life again in a way ya didn’t before. In my experience, I was married but I was honest with all involved and not only did my husband help me get my own place , but he came over to see it and hang out: for a bit:) and no bad karma followed me or was created because we did not create it in the first place. So in a sense Karma is also a mental concept we create out of fear, fear of facing what we need to face…but if we do not face things it will follow us. Like a bad dream that reoccurs , Karma is the very basis of who we are and what we wish to create and un create here. But remember this, love wipes out everything even Karma. So If ya need help with anything, just ask…I’m an excellent adviser and would love to help anyone out:)

#6 The Lovers- Choose relationships wisely

wpid-img_20150825_142919.jpgI have been working with the above deck (Mythic Tarot) for several years, I just can not give it up, its tethered( as you can see in the above image) and worn all way around but it has been the most effective deck for myself. It also depicts the best example of what the lovers card actually represents opposed to many tarot  decks out there.

After meeting his spiritual self in the #5 Major arcana  card, The fool is now ready to meet himself in others and build relationships of all kinds.

The interesting thing about this card is it claims to be about ” the lovers” but oddly enough it has everything to do with our relationship with ourselves first. This card becomes the fools first lesson in choosing his partnerships. This card is crucially important as it has more to teach than choosing the best lover, It reflects our values and mirrors the type of person we wish to become, therefore we must choose wisely in all our relationships because it is a reflection of who we are as well,  and that is the overall lesson we will find within this card. In the above image we see a man holding an apple in front of three very tempting woman. Here we meet the Trojan prince Paris who was commanded by Zeuz to hold a beauty contest between three goddesses Hera, Aphrodite and Athene. Paris first refused such a request knowing that he would have to let down those who were not chosen. Paris than offered to offer the apple in threes, for he could not choose from such great goddesses. Hermes was sent by the king of Gods to explain that this was not acceptable either. He had to choose. The three goddesses than paraded in front of this dashing young prince. Hera offered ruler ship of the world, Athene offered to make Paris the mightiest of warriors, and Aphrodite simply opened her robes and offered her cup of love.

Paris being so young and unaware of his inner values choose Aphrodite without any hesitations. His reward was Helen Queen of Sparta, Hera and Athene smiled and promised his choice would not be held against him, they walked off plotting the downfall of Troy. This was the spark that ignited the Trojan War because of Paris’s anger with his choice and ended with the entire royal city being burned down to the ground. Paris, because of his sexual needs that drives him he can not make a mature decision in his relationships and therefore his choice is made by desires instead and had to pay for that decision by seeing his city burned to nothing.

The lovers is just as important as the rest of the major arcana lessons because as we grow it is necessary to make the wrong choices in order to realize what we truly want and need in our partnerships. The more we self reflect the better the chances are of finding that which resides within us through others.

When this card shows itself in readings it suggests a choice of some kind whether it be between two lovers or even a lover and your family or a friend. Even a creative endeavor you wish to pursue other than your business routines. It is through this card that The fool will meet his own responsibility from his choices just as we all do in life. Through learning who is right or wrong for us is a process we all go through, let’s just hope we learn from this process instead of repeating this lesson, which can be very hurtful and trying at times. Remember, sometimes it takes time to meet the one’s who are “right” for us because it all goes back to how we view ourselves and that reflection will always bounce back to us.

#6 The lovers - The Fantastical Creature Tarot

#6 The lovers – The Fantastical Creature Tarot

With this card, it is also about keeping our relationships balanced and wanting to grow with another in a mutual way.:) It is two people choosing to be together and are ready to fight for their love for one another. It is about the journey we share with someone that makes up this card as well because we are constantly learning about ourselves and changing, as long as both partners can grow together it becomes more than just a relationship, it is a true bond of acceptance, work, understanding, trust and love. The key is be true to each other and respect one another, and  never give up.:) Because the only way of knowing is trying. Always remember why you fell in love in the first place.

I would like to share a video, hope you all don’t mind its just a pretty song I think relates well with this card and is extremely positive.

#5 The Hierophant- A spiritual Lesson

pope-600Here we meet The Hierophant.(The High priest in male form) The fifth lesson of the fool’s journey. A lesson that is one of the hardest for all of us to learn. After he met his father and learned how to encompass himself through the world on his own, he is now ready to meet a teacher that will always find him again and again, a  teacher of life. He is the savior in all of us. He is the one we continue to meet in our lives in order to show us our truest lives and lessons. He also stands for the number five archetype and show’s that we must realize our own tasks here and the lessons we will face as well, no matter how hard they will be to take in. This card is not easy to write about or relate with because it holds a few things that life as we recognize it can not easily be reckoned with.

The fool is finding that life may be a bit trickier than he thought, once he met his father he sought after his goals with his head held high. But  now he has to realize an entire new platform of his being, that there is something else to consider here.

Its time to realize he is a part of something greater than himself.  When we make mistakes in life, we often either reflect on them or look for a higher counsel to guide us. TheHierophant is just that. When the fool meet’s his mistakes and can not decipher or make sense of his lessons on his own, he will then go out and find one that can. This is where The Fool looks for higher meaning and reason through the church and community, he will seek a higher purpose. The hierophant may indicate a spiritual search for meaning through conventional rituals or professional advice. Sometimes we may veer away from our true purpose and need help getting back on track. This card often also indicates when we are repeating lessons over and over again in life because we are either choose not to learn from them or simply  can’t figure out why we continue to go through things time and time again. It took some time for me to really land this card in my readings because all the Major Arcana cards offer lessons and archetypes. What I have found is that we are all here for a purpose and lesson, however they go hand in hand because life is always creating new lessons for us to learn but our purpose can be overcoming those lessons and teaching them to others.

The Heirophant

In many ways he represents our relationship with God. How we view God, how we relate to God and how our lives are effected by this relationship.”when we trust in ourselves we trust in God”  It is crucial to note that if our belief in God suspends due to disbelief, we than find ourselves either lost or testing ourselves in order to learn more of a higher power. We all may find that the church is not the answers for us, but looking within will. This is my experience with morals and ethics because sometimes the walls around you aren’t built to show you a wall of security but rather a wall of endurance. The most important thing to remember here is a divine law that hold’s over all physical truths because no matter what our choices are, we must face why those choices came to be in the first place. Whether from within ourselves  or from an exterior wall.

This is why religion is nor good or bad because it brings in the balance to those that can not find it elsewhere. The Fool is ready to embark on this new journey, a lesson that will always be waiting for his decision to either follow what has been written or to find it within himself, either way he will find a reason to every season and his own mistakes and triumphs. Because he will find that once he goes out into the world to test his belief system, He will find himself and his higher calling.

#4 The Emperor- The Spiritual Father, featuring my brother:)

The Emperor- Mythic Tarot

“The father is the representative of the spirit, whose function is to oppose pure instinct” – C. J Jung

We are ready to enter the next chapter of our growth path here in the major arcana tarot, The Emperor. Unlike The Empress who embodies the physical mother The Emperor embodies the spiritual father. The fool has met his mother and learned of his own role to creating beauty, comfort and love now it’s time for him to meet a new challenge in himself and set forth to unfold his unique way to establish himself to not only himself but the world as well. He has a scroll in one hand and the world in the other, they both are a symbol of his knowledge and and wisdom and how he creates it out in the “world”.

The Emperor represents the spiritual father because he instills our morals and values and confidence to take these tools and use them to build our foundations in life this includes our relationships business and personal and also to use them in the material world in order to survive we must learn a survival method, this is what The Emperor (father) has to teach us.

My mom and my brother celebrating his law school graduation.

Forgive me I am adding my personal experience to this blog post because I feel it is highly crucial in order to show you how The Emperor has effected my life and may help you understand his path much more.

This picture used to break my heart in half all over again every time I would see it, but It has been five years. It was April the month of new beginning’s the month of my birthday as well, the month my brother became a lawyer,  the month my mom passed away from cancer. I never had a father not one that would be happy to spend time with me or help me figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up, but my mom did. She was the only reliance we had growing up, with no Emperor present, she had  to become him and show us we can be anything we wanted to be, but we must work hard for it. This picture salutes my mom in many ways to raise four children and  instill The Emperor takes skill and love.and discipline. She had all these things all through our upbringing, because she had to be the Empress and The Emperor both. I think she did a excellent job because even though I wanted to attend school this woman would  push for me to work and create work ethics. And that is exactly what happened. She would say “You need to get out there an work! ”  I was also writing a lot and she encouraged that as well and anything I would seek to go after she would encourage. It wasn’t till my latter years I realized her male and female roles and how they impacted my life. My point here is anyone can be both, and to play both titles takes a role that really defines a balanced human heart, which is in all of us.

My brother and his daughter Melissa.

Father and daughter , this brings me to my next point that I encountered  of The Emperor, my brother. When you do not have a dad you usually cling to the nearest one who has all the qualities you look for in a father. Well years older than my twin sister and I,  he did a great job of someone who has all the initial pieces of The Emperor. by making sure we had goals lined up even at the age of ten! He left when we were very young to go join the military (marines) but he did it because he had to go out there and establish himself to himself, this is exactly what The Emperor represents.I don’t find it ironic that he became a lawyer after. The Emperor is a man of pride and passion to build his own domain, no one can tell him how its going to be because he already has it established within himself and his determination is much more prominent than scattering his forces.

My brother and his son celebrating his son’s wedding.

Like Father like son,  this picture depicts a great image of The  Emperor by bonding in our relationships and bringing that influence to the outside world. The Emperor again stands for studious confident behaviors.I think every man and woman challenges or should challenge themselves to be there own Emperor. Establishment is just a status, however it is also what we came here to do, recognize the things we are great at and put them to the test, enabling us to learn who we really are and what we wish to represent to others. The Emperor is a man of power and authority he represents respect, responsibility and recognition for his unique ability to govern others in the right direction. This is probably one of the most ambitious cards in the tarot deck. It is the spiritual father in all of us that pushes us forward to keep trying and the knowledge and wisdom we have within us to strive to be whomever we choose.

My brother and his wife becoming lawyers.

My brother and his wife becoming lawyers.

My brother Mark Crum.

Without The Emperor we would never know what it means to work hard to see results, we would never see our morals and values put to a test that just may excel us to discovering what we just might be very good at. It is The Emperor who teaches us how to believe in ourselves and to trust our ability to make anything achievable and to love and witness ourselves working hard for the things that may not bring us great prosperity, but in turn will bring us great integrity.

The fool is now ready to embrace his forth path in life where he is challenged to challenge himself as the world demands him to be a certain way, he will surely see just what it takes to create his world according to his own morals and values. Will the world be ready to accept what he has to offer? This is a lesson we all must face in life at one point or another. It is one of the most important paths we will ever set foot on because it defines us out into the material world what we choose to be seen as is just as important as choosing something to stand for and even against. It is about principals and keeping to them no matter what life hands us.

543315_690113215704_770228893_nI never had a dad but I am honored and grateful for my brother because he  rose above the negatives  in life and stepped up to become exactly who he was meant to always  be The Emperor.:)

Good traits of  The Emperor  Instilling morals, values the things that make us apart and relative.  The man who walks on his own, A Father figure using discipline in a creative productive way, “When I try to make things work things work for me and you”.  Order control and power, those that use life’s tools to create what they seek,  men of authority, the upper classes, responsibility, stability, someone who engages in themselves for the better purpose of man.A Father, husband, brother. A land owner, someone who appreciates not depreciates.  those who are direct and forceful, following logic, reason and rational rather than what the heart delegates. A helping man, a person of power, self control, achievement, Mind over matter, A ruler, dictator, a person of wealth and power, the legal system,  a great organizer that can build things easily with such skills, structure, Defiance, order, The walls that make up society, a man of honor and integrity,  political leaders, a mentor.

Bad Traits-  A man whom questions himself and others,  the man that sits with comfort to himself but realizes he is the one that can not change what he has done,A empty pocket with no desire to refill it, “I helped bring the walls up, so why aren’t they built”? I’m gonna do what I choose to do regardless of you”. “I”m the one in power don’t reject me”!, abuse of power in all ways, the man that shuns his best intentions is a man of bad intent. A man that takes no responsibility for his actions and lands in a ditch, ” I can’t see the good in what I’m doing here”. Abandoning yourself, trusting only past logic’s, ” I really wish I would have done that instead of this”.” I am not a father , but a child.”, an immature man. an important rival, those that use greed to climb up the ladder of power.

The Emperor as people and things good-those that keep going no matter if life cuts them off, The men that make up for the masses, fathers, son’s, brother’s, following your inner strengths, Military men, those that appease weakness as a strength, fighting for your rights, lawyers,  defiant men, King Arther, Judges, the city council, colleges, establishments of all kinds- schools, mass companies, your own business.  , the government., schools,

#4 t=/the emperor-also the emperor, is about relocations, a happy family, finding a great job you can invest in, both time and hard work., ready to move on, finding yourself and developing yourself to your hard work and building  from that which those have neglected..

The #3 The Empress

wpid-img2334-1.jpgThe fool is ready to meet his next task in life with the #3 card of the major arcana The Empress. With this card he will now meet his motherly nature within himself and what it’s like to share emotion and creation in all physical forms.

We rely on our mothers  for  many things, comfort, love, nurture. this is our next journey as the fool meets his mother. The Empress stands for all that we create here and have love and passion towards, that can be down to anything we choose even food, relationships takes the example of The empress.

She reminds us that life can be glorious even in the darkest of times by appreciating the simple things in life, clothes on our back food on our tables and love of those that surround us.  She is wise and comforting and usually someone who  values nature and the simplistic beauty in all things.

The fool is now ready to invest in himself in a  very derived yet diplomatic way, from his mother. He is able to take his thoughts and feelings and put them to a physical use.

wpid-img2335-1.jpgThis card also stands for earthly pleasures (mother earth) not just motherhood from our own mother’s. but the fruitfulness we sow from working hard in order to materialize what we wish to create. In this card we meet the female perspective of creation. The things of life we put creative love towards that will eventually reap the rewards of success and abundance.

When this is card is drawn It  can often mean childbirth (pregnancy) or the creation of something we put much time and effort towards. It is also about enjoying the finer things in life and all that it has to offer.

wpid-img2332.jpgAbundance can come in many forms, whether they be big or small. It is the very beauty of creation and acceptance of the simplest “things” of life that can keep us going everyday and to remember that at one time you were in awe of all the beauty of all that surrounded you. As we go through life these things tend to become just that “things” that we overlook having to pay attention to how we are going to survive in our lives rather than appreciating it all,  for every thing is a form of creation.

“On a inner level, the image of The Empress reflects the experience of mothering. This does not mean only the physical gestation process, birth and nurturing of a child. It is also the experience of the great mother, the discovery of the body as something valuable and precious, which merits care, the experience of being a part of nature and rooted in natural life”. ” The appreciation of the senses and the simple pleasures of daily existence”.- Mythic Tarot

One thing I discovered with this card as it can mean a literal doorway/passage from one stage to the next.  Years ago when I was taking a Tarot study class I became close to my teacher, anyway I fell asleep one day on my couch and had a out of body experience where I knew my body was sleeping and I walked over to my kitchen table which had all my tarot cards lye before me. One card stuck out and it was the Empress, but instead of the usual title on the card on top of it said “doorway”.

I thought it was one of the coolest things but I did not get it at all then and I told my tarot teacher of this finding and she said “yep, sure it can mean a doorway”. “it is after all a very high creation card”.

I was still in shock of my discovery because than I was starting out to really take Tarot front and center. Now I realize just how it does example a doorway…I just thought at the time other cards would show up more as a doorway, but the kicker is not long after I had that experience my life changed on a entirely new abundant level. Pretty neat aint it:) This is why I stress about dreaming and getting to know them and astral projection because they both show you whats ahead, well for myself anyway.

key words good- prosperity,  A love for nature,Pregnancy, fine foods, having both love and money, creation, hard work that hands you direct results with rewards, beauty, healing, the earth, elegance, “I have all that I need and want to share it”, the queen of life, female creation and beauty, love, harmony, nature, animals, material comfort, a luscious garden, a beautiful home, physical love and marriage, female sexuality, gain, mother earth, creative projects in a feminine detail, the passage from one stage to another, self love and worth, bringing love onto others, “if you plant a seed it will grow over night”, Good fortune, “I may not have much but I have it all”,

key words bad- Mother issues, blocked creativity, disregarding opportunities, “I have no love or money in my life”. problems with pregnancy, depression, struggling to get ahead as a single mother, not realizing your truest potential, living a life in shame, “I can not offer anything of value to my children”. I use my kids as a outlet to define my own anger”. material discomfort, blocking love, not seeing the love around you, following material objects to create abundance, greed, sex without love, wasted energy, despair, not seeing the beauty within yourself or on the outside.marital problems, birth control, all things that cloud your mind of possible love and abundance.

key people good- your mom, values and morals from your mom or any females in your life, nurses, healers, a maternal nurturing woman, a  helpful woman, a woman of influence, a woman whom teaches love and prosperity, a pregnant woman, a woman that care takes of others, a woman who owns “things”, a woman of importance, woman of power and authority.

For men when asking of love this card shows up as the woman of his dreams.

key words people bad- those that take away what has been given to them, prostitutes, promiscuous folks, nonproductive people, those that take from some who has very little, those that are full of themselves, emotionally unstable people, woman that have sex and have abortions over and over. Icy people, those that can not see the beauty of life and it within themselves, Woman who use for their own gain and their kids, “I am a woman hear me roar”. “I feel its your fault I’m pregnant”.

Regardless of the above scenarios The Empress is about  being true to your heart no matter what and creating abundance how ever you really choose to.:)

p#2 The High Priestess-The Unknown and Known

wpid-img2318.jpg Here we have The High Priestess, the second path. After the Fool meet’s the Magician and meeting his own responsive thoughts, he now can move to the next level that becomes his feelings.

In this card I have always seen a woman sitting in between two worlds. One is her reality that is above her, (outer) the other is below her, (within). Within this card the fool meets his next lesson in life and that is not only his feelings but his ability to understand them with correlation to his thoughts. I see this card often as a teenager beginning to see that there is more to things than what they have seen prior with the magician as well as learning the unseen side of life and reality. This is where the fool meets his own depths of himself through dreams, intuition, and his emotions. He begins to realize there is much more here than just what he “Thinks”.

This card also has two lessons here as well…For it stands for the number two for a reason, two paths, two sides we all must learn the light and the dark, just like the pillars are on either side of the woman in the card above. The dark and Light we all carry around with us. So we meet our other sides for the first time in our journey, we meet our inner selves on an entirely new level of ourselves with different needs and wants. Which once we start to develop this newness we are very vulnerable as well because we have yet to build this new realization up yet onto reality. We are after all just starting out and learning “ourselves” at the number two stage in our lives.

Understanding our emotions comes to play here and how to understand them of others. Often this card is said to be ruled by the moon and the female archetype because it represents the female side in all of us as well. The High Priestess is in all of us for it truly stands for the mystery and secrets of life and the very depths of oneself. It is the wisdom and both the secrets of the universe. When this card is drawn to us we are called upon to look closer to our dreams, intuition and our feelings more and also try to create a balance of both dark and light within ourselves. It is the unseen in this card that reminds us, ” It is the very things we do not see here, but never the less exist that keep the rhythm of all going”. It is the instincts and gut feelings that we learn to follow and trust as well as our emotions.

This card shows us all the darker parts of life, the unseen, the unknown, the very depths of ourselves we do not understand, just as the depths of our earths ocean, we continue to “feel” our way through this life. The fool can now be joined with thought and emotion and he is now ready to move forward to the next phase of his journey.

The high priestess warns us of possible untruths around us, as well as cheating ourselves from what we truly need to nourish ourselves. She is the intuitive mother that knows what we need on a subconscious level and therefore tries to give us those things we secretly seek.
